What is a Cub?

Cub Scouts are young people usually aged between eight and ten and half years old and make up the next section of the Scouting family. They want to have fun, adventure and friendship with opportunities to go on visits, explore the outdoors, and go to camps as well as trying out new things.

What do Cub Scouts wear?

Cub Scouts uniform consists of a dark green sweatshirt and a Group scarf. A Beaver Scout who has joined the Cubs and has gained his/her Chief Scout Bronze Award can wear it on their uniform until they have gained the Chief Scout's Silver Award.

What do Cub Scouts do?

The Cub Scouts have a very exciting and varied programme which includes gaining their Chief Scout's Silver Award. Once again the programme helps the Cubs to learn about the wider things that are going on around them whilst enjoying themselves. Cubs join the Scout Troop before their eleventh birthday.
